Is this ok at the moment?

So, we have been staying at home as much as possible and only my husband or myself going to the shop once a week. Totally on board with social distancing and staying away from everyone etc. My two primary aged children have been occasionally going for a walk/run/cycle but not everyday. It’s the Easter holidays at the moment and they are definitely feeling the struggle a little more at the moment of not getting out of the house and have a proper run around. Though they have been playing in our garden. Anyway - a short walk from us there is a big industrial estate with lots of office buildings in it. Obviously most of these are empty at the moment and do not have any cars parked in them at all. We have taken our children up there today for a cycle round on their bikes. Is this acceptable do you think?
YABU - This is not something you should be doing.
YANBU - There’s no-one there this can be your daily exercise.
Thanks.

Why would it be an issue?

Sounds fine to me

We headed to one car park and they cycled round and round for about 20 minutes while my husband and I stood to watch and keep an eye if any cars did come - obviously none did!

Such an non issue 🤦🏽‍♀️

There are children and families on bikes all over the place here, it is better exercise than a slow walk.

There are also speeding idiots in noisy cars and motorbikes on the industrial estates though, so watch out.
