Where have the music channels gone?

When I was younger I used to really enjoy watching music channels like vh1 and mtv. I liked having the continuous loop of various music videos on in the background. I was also addicted to the various countdown programmes of say top 40 ‘didn’t quite make it up number 1’ or top 40 bestselling songs of 1996.

Do these channels still exist anywhere other than Sky?

I think you need a Sky or Virgin package for music channels now. I have Sky and there's a few on there.

Youtube and look for the vevo channel. There's a vevo app on Roku and DC looks at that. There are curated video play lists.

Freeview has Now 70s and Now 80s channels. - I love the 70s one.

If you have a fire stick or fire tv download the box app. It means you can stream a few different music channels.
