Is the ovulation pain on the lead up or on the actual day? If just on the day I would say to just concentrate on ttc on the days leading upto ovulation, apparently these are the best days anyway
I get bad ovulation pains so know how you feel

Gre8scott · 15/04/2020 11:42

Its starts about 5 days before ovulation and 3 or 4 days after

I don't think this sounds normal. Difficult to know what to suggest right now because you probably won't be able to see your GP at the moment, but ovulation shouldn't be so painful that you go on hormonal contraception to stop it. You probably need a scan to see whether there is something unusual going on in there like cysts or fibroids or something. This is worth getting checked out just for the pain, but if you're TTC it's doubly important.

That is a long time to be getting ovulation pains also, I agree with pp and think maybe there might be an underlying issue. I get pains for max 24 hours, some people a couple of days, some less. I know everyone is different though. Did you have a lap?

Yes they removed a cyst and there was nothing else I've had it like this since my very first period
