I am a worrier at the best of times, nevermind with all that is going on currently.
Just wanted to get some options on if I'm being silly or I actually have a need to worry about this. The other afternoon we were all out enjoying the weather in the garden (me, DH, DS5 and DS2). Paddling pool etc, lovely time. While I was getting my boys a drink inside I heard DS5 say 'don't hit me'. I could see from my window DS2 was playing and had tapped his arm (as he does when he wants to start a game of tag). No crying or any issues at all. My worry head then comes in....what if the neighbours heard DS5 saying 'don't hit me' and assumed he was talking to me or DH?! We don't hit at all and always tell the boys off if they hit each other as any parent would. Am I being silly in thinking social services will turn up at my door? I have said to myself what would I think if I heard this in another garden? My answer is children playing no issue. No tears nobody upset and just a happy family having fun. Has the worry of coronavirus sent my worrying over the top here?
