To think this is rude (lighthearted)

Yesterday a window cleaner was on my street and posted a card through my letterbox to advertise their business. I messaged them late afternoon to enquire about a price. They replied. I was going to think about it after discussing with my husband and get back to them.
As it was I actually forgot to mention it. So this morning at 8.25am they text me with ?
I'm a bit like 🤔 over it?! Is it really appropriate to message a prospective customer so soon in that way?

Some people are very blunt in their texts and emails. They almost certainly don’t mean to be rude.

I disagree with PP, I think that is pretty rude from someone wanting your business

I'd find that really rude. I'd message back saying you were going to talk it over with your husband, but due to their pushiness they won't be getting your business now.

Lots of small businesses are loosing their customers. I know I cancelled our window cleaner. They are probably in survival mode and desperate for your business. Does it really matter it was just a text that you can choose to ignore or answer politely that you don’t require their services.

Perhaps the window cleaner can't write in English very well (eg if English is not his first language). He wanted to remind you and has. Discuss it with your husband now and let the window cleaner know your decision.

Some people are impatient, he is probably excited about starting a new business.
I'd employ them as a one off for his deciated interest, if he is as interested in doing a good job I'd give him the chance.
