On the basis that some headway has been made but it's still early days. Thoughts?

Smile that is an interesting article. Germany seem to have a much better grip of the virus than we do.

Don't the vast majority think it should be extended?
Who thinks we should all go back to normal tomorrow, no one surely? You only need to look at the rest of the world to see that 3 weeks isnt enough

That's right smile, of course we need a plan but the lack of a plan would be a reason to extend it further. We can't say let's go back to normal because of the internet difficulties in deciding on the best plan for exit. That goes without saying imo

I would, the economy needs to get going and people need to work.

Appuskidu · 15/04/2020 10:38

Schools will be first

I doubt that very much. Schools reopening is the end of social distancing. This article makes a lot of sense.

Schools need to go back first to enable parents to work.

I’d be horrified if they said they were returning things to normal. We’re not ready. Germany has been so much more on the ball than us. They’ve tested people, traced where those infected had been and tested those they’d met, and quarantined much more efficiently. They’ve had many fewer cases.
