To feel inadequate

to see that your DH's ex listed as a friend on Facebook is gorgeous, thin and v. successful in the City?

I'm starting to feel v. inadequate actually whether it's unreasonable or not.. . . .. . . . .

there must be a good reason she is his ex..... more to life than being gorgeous, thin and well paid

so i keep telling myself

I personally think you should be pleased your dh has joined facebook - mine thinks it's a complete waste of time! Do you know his password? Not suggesting you spy or anything...

MaureenMLove · 13/09/2007 20:16

The answers in the question isn't it? It is his EX. He wanted to be with you not her! YANBU, but don't worry so much. You can't judge a book by its cover!

I know his password. It's the same for every thing he uses online. I've only used it to buy nappies online though. As yet.

I know there's a reason they're exes but when things aren't so hot between us (swings and roundabouts), I can just see myself employing the mental torture of comparing. Very daft I know. Sigh.
