One crackling day at a village fair a three(ish) year old trying to drink the water out of the bag of goldfish he was carrying. His mum stopped him but it was a hilarious moment I'd like to have captured on camera.

Another one, during a production of a village pantomime: 8 or more children dressed in fairy costumes dancing silently backstage to the tune before their cue. My dear friend and I looked at each other and realised it was just a moment. No one else saw.

And on a more personal note: DS2 about five minutes old sitting in a washing up bowl with the look of, 'WTF is this?' on his face.

Happened to me so I'm guessing someone else may have wished they had a camera...

I was on the work car park loading my boot with stuff to take to an event. As I bent down to pick up a crate my lovely smart suit pants spit right down bum seam and my entire bent over arse burst out totally exposed! I immediately spun round and flattened my bare butt against my car and edged squeakily along until I made it to my door and managed to climb in!
Thank God there was no one else in car park!!

Oh and I was wearing a G string....

Ds a few months old in my arms, pulled my pyjama top down to expose one boob while I was signing for post. All credit to the postman he didn't bat an eyelid

It's the 'squeakily' that makes it more hilarious. Never trust a posh suit and always wear a long cardi?

Cartoonists can do these precious moments.
Photographers can, perhaps, wish they were there.

Awww, postie wouldn't have though anything but how cute.

Previously mentioned DS in the washing up bowl is a postie now. His round folk are all important to him.

In a hospital waiting room with DS1, then around 3. In front of the packed room, he pulled my top right down Blush

This was many years ago and thank GOD no-one had a camera Blush

Not a funny one but, several years ago I was in a group cycling holiday through Jordan. We were on a long day’s ride, about 40 miles, and the group spread out, as they usually do, before regrouping at a drink break every 15 miles or so. We’d passed the final stop and spread out again to do the last 15 miles to the finish point and I was riding along a flat, straight road in the late afternoon as the sun started to go down - we were that spread out that nobody else was around. As I cycled along, in my own little world, a guy rode up beside me on this dirt track that ran alongside the road, on this beautiful black stallion. He had his Bedouin robes on, and the horse had these really intricate tasseled reins, and everything was kind of flapping in the wind. He pulled down his headdress from his face, gave me a big beaming smile (and my goodness he was fit as), then wrapped his headdress around his face again and galloped off.

It was like something out of Laurence of Arabia, and I spent the rest of the ride smoking to myself thinking - did that actually just happen??!

Other people did see this but it was really funny (only after I saw that the woman was unhurt!)

I was walking along and saw a woman fall over. Not only that but she fell out of her shoes so she fell flat like something on Family Guy and a pair of high heels were left standing perfectly upright behind her Grin

She was fine! People ran over to help her and she was laughing.

55chockaholic72, how beautiful, a sight to remember forever and I can picture it perfectly

A few years ago I was in Paternoster Square next to St Paul's in the evening of Valentines day. A couple walked through the square just as the bells began to toll for 8pm and the man got down on one knee and proposed. She accepted and he span her round. Perfect kodak moment but my kids were yelling for my attention

DH and I were in a busy travel agent (yes it was a long time ago) waiting to be served. It was one big long desk and the bottom half of it was mirrored. The agent in front of us was serving a lady, we could see his top half and her bottom half reflected in the mirror and it looked like he was wearing a skirt. She was sitting in a quite masculine way legs slightly apart.

Let's keep this thread going. Oh the horse rider one! I wish I had the camera.

What have I seen that seemed ridiculous?

Years ago I was walking on the beach with my friend and her dog. The dog was on an extra long leash to allow her to run free without the risk of her running off. She was always very protective towards me, so when she clocked another dog racing towards me (which was an aggresive looking thing and I was rooted to the spot) she ran across the beach to "rescue" me... She ran straight past, pulling the leash taut and tripping me over! I flew about 2 feet in the air and landed flat on my face with my arms by my side and my knees bent at 90 degrees... I soooooo wish someone had videoed it, I bet it looked hilarious and it would have made me £250 on You've Been Framed!

@Stronger76 my boyfriend proposed to me somewhere i’d always wanted to visit and afterwards a man came over to say he’d seen what was happening and had started to take photos. there was a whole sequence of photos from my boyfriend going down on his knee to me practically jumping on him to kiss him after he’d put the ring on. he asked for my email and was kind enough to send them to us. it was just amazing. i’d like to think i’d have done the same if i was in that situation but it honesty wouldn’t even have occurred to me.

the moment i wish had been captured was once when we were little my sister fell in a giant puddle of mud and was covered from head to toe. she had to strip her clothes off and walk home wearing my dad’s jumper 😂 it’s a moment still talked about in our family and i’d love the photo as a reminder.
