Shared Garden? Kids shouldn't be playing together.

Name changed for this as outing but penis beaker etc

We live in an old property thats a few older buildings each converted into a flat/house and we all share a large, lovely garden.

7 properties. 5 of which have school aged kids.

3 of the households (all bar ourselves (7yo) and another family with a 4yo and 7yo) are letting the kids play together all day while the adults sit on sun loungers and make each other drinks. (And don't have to entertain their own kids)

It's like the fucking summer holidays.

While our DS and neighbours kids have to look on and keep asking why they can get in the paddling pool/do the egg hunt.

I feel so sad and like I'm depriving DS especially as he's an only child.

But I'm in the right here, yes? (We're doing a lot of FaceTiming and DH is amazing at playing like a child anyway.)

You are right and what they’re doing is against advice. Would I be strong enough to resist after this for 3 weeks and my kids full of energy... not sure
