How much DIY is too much?

Fully appreciate that people may be using the lockdown to do things around the house that they have been putting off.

By way of context, I live in a terraced house with a garden that is approx 3m wide.

Yesterday, neighbour was cutting down trees/bushes in their garden for most of the afternoon, which was painfully noisy and sent a fairly constant spray of sawdust over the fence across my garden.

Today the cutting continued, and then around midday they started a bonfire from the wood they had chopped down. Another neighbour quickly asked them to put it out as it was stinking out the street, but 8 hours later and my house still smells of bonfire throughout.

I have tolerated some more garden power tools this evening before deciding to come inside.

Now it seems they too have come inside, and taken up with a hammer.

Seriously, is this really acceptable?
