Hello, my 12 week old baby has been going through the night for a few weeks now (yes I know how lucky I am!) we put him to bed around 7pm (occasionally he will play up but usually be asleep by half 7/8 at the latest) then we wake him up at half 10 for his last feed and all go to bed, he will then sleep usually till around 6.30am!
We've been doing this routine for a while now and up until recently he always used to have a 45 min morning nap, a good 2 hour nap around lunch time and a later nap in the afternoon, recently he has started having 5 or 6 half hour naps throughout the day and waking up at 5-5.30am, he rarely wakes from the naps refreshed he just grizzles as is obviously still tired. I just wondered if anyone had any tips on ways to get him to nap for longer? He can only stay awake for an hour to hour and half max without getting tired.
We make sure its dark, cool and quiet and have white noise on but he just stirs after half hour and wakes himself up fully.
I know I am lucky that the night stretch is the longest but I just want him to have enough quality sleep in the daytime as well as giving me a chance to get some bits done and plan the day a bit better.
Any tips would be appreciated! :)
