AIBU to wonder what this means?

A light aircraft made this pattern in the sky over our house today. Twice.

I think it's to mark someone's death or it's to make an Easter point about loving Jesus

Anyone know? Any thoughts?

(Missing the point a bit - but whatever it is, it doesn't look 'essential')

My career is in Aviation yet I think this is wrong. For him/her to have taken off & landed, unless the plane is based at a major airport, it would've meant opening the airfield & their fire service being present in case of crash on takeoff/landing, use of ATC & possibly even refuelling truck & aircraft maintenance crew in case needed.
Imagine if, God forbid, he'd crashed. Would likely be in a built up area by the looks of it. Besides the obvious awful devastation and loss of life, think of the amount of emergency services & NHS resources/staff that would've required.
Can't believe they gave approval for that.

^ This. I was thinking the same, if I were to go gliding I'd need several people - 3 at the winch, 3 to rig the glider (who'd help with steering before launch), 1 to signal to the winch, plus we have two duty instructors. I might be socially distant after launch but totally the opposite before and after.
