AIBU to give up on screen time rules at the moment?

Boys 12 and 10 worked their socks off when school closed for two weeks. Now it’s the holiday they are wanting down time which is fine but they are glued to the screens. I’ve insisted on the daily walk/bike and they are reading a chapter a day each and 10 mins spelling/tables but the rest of the day they are impossible to motivate. Just not interested in cooking, board games etc
Feel like a failure!
Normally we are so busy they don’t have time to have more than an hour or two during the week - it’s like they are now filling their buckets!

I would say go easy on yourself and them. Things are hard at the moment and nobody is expecting you to be supermum while balancing everything else. Sounds like they’re still having some structure like the walks/reading etc so a bit of extra screen time isn’t going to be overly harmful short term.
