To ask if I can block certain words on Mumsnet? Fed up of trolls

I am at my wits end. Mumsnet is a true place for support for me. I lost my Daughter last month.

Since then, I've seen 3 or 4 deeply disturbing posts about abortion it's a fact of life obviously but these trolls go into nasty details that is just awful.

They are often disguised with titles not relating to the content of the post, so when you've read it it too late.

Can you block words and therefore won't see threads with those words? I would ban the word abortion on my account. Obviously not the event itself but it's just I'm vulnerable right now and keep stumbling across these disgusting threads

I'm so sorry for your loss but how do you know they are trolls and not genuine posts about the topic?

Mis I don't want to detail too much but these posts are quickly deleted with a message to say the poster is a nasty PBP. And, they detail what they'd 'do' to the fetus. It's graphic

OP, I know the posts you mean, and you're right, they are awful, and dive for the potter's weird kicks.

Unfortunately there's no way as far as I know that we can block this sort of thing. I report them as soon as I see them.

mines what's even the point of posting them? They make no sense. And how does the troll know they're upsetting lots of people since they can't see their reaction?

If it carries on I'll have to leave MN. It's a shame. I'm not from the UK and the American boards elsewhere do my head in with 'baby dust' and 'have a blessed day'
