“Taking thread down whilst we have a look”

I always see this but I never see the thread reinstated! Does a thread ever get reinstated after MNHQ “have a look”?!

I've seen it happen once. It was a thread I'd commented on which got taken down and then got reinstated a few hours later. I believe they contacted the OP and got some things clarified.
