This is a single household kind of question but... I made Nigella's Chicken With 40 Cloves of Garlic last week, which has been sandwich heaven ever since. What are your favourites?

Rice is always good

Stews and curries always seem to get better with time (except, for some reason, Thai chilli, I think)

I made the following in the slow cooker and has been just as good re-heated in the microwave.

Chicken breast
carrot
onion
celery
peas
garlic
chicken stock
thyme
parsley
baby potatoes

For about 5 hours on low
Then
add cream and parmesan for about 30 mins

use flour for thickening it up

I make a chicken tikka masala with rice then the next day add a few cloves of garlic and a teaspoon of gharam masala then pour in a tin of coconut milk. Let it simmer until it's thickened then serve with spaghetti and a crunchy salad
