So, yesterday I heard some kids playing out the back and then heard someone shouting at them. I assumed it was someone shouting at them to go home but no. When I stuck my head out of the back door there was a man standing there shouting about how this is all a conspiracy and that it’s aliens waiting to get us all.But first ten million of us have to die and then they can come after the rest. .

Someone else came out of a house and told him to go home at which point he replied “God bless love.” Bit of a contradiction that, no?

He sound mentally ill to me.

Lots of people believe in conspiracy theories etc even if I don't but very few would randomly start shouting them at strangers especially children.

Oh we have a local crazy who tells us it’s god punishing us especially if you are gay, in a mixed race relationship or non white. He likes to shout threw a megaphone some days.
If it’s the evening he normally just shouts fuck you, at everyone.

I don't subscribe to conspiracy theories. However, there's nothing unreasonable about the observation that, should any aliens be on the look out for an opportunity to stage a hostile invasion, now would be an ideal time. It's very arrogant to assume we are the only intelligent life-forms in the universe.

I try to avoid him for obvious reasons.

A fairly well known flat earther got arrested recently for shouting at small children in the school playground (back in the olden days when kids went to school).

He was yelling that their teachers were lying to them etc and wouldn't stop.

Not mentally ill in an obvious way, but that kind of obsession surely counts as an illness.

We had one of these too the other night shouting at about 11pm - going on about Buddha and other stuff, and how it was going to be months of Sundays etc, think he was a bit drunk.

@Poppi89 he’s a religious cracy, not a mental health crazy. Police have been called on him before nothing much happens.

That would really scare me! I have seen those types before but they've never been local to me so luckily they are a rare sight. I would hate to have to see/hear that regularly.

It's worrying because you can see where these far-right ideas come from and it only takes one person to act on it and attack someone.
