I received some fantastic news and my mum managed to send me a card to congratulate me, with a bottle of prosecco!
I appreciate it so much more that we're in lockdown.

Mine was last week and I really enjoyed it too! I had the day off work, DH and DD both made me fantastic homemade cards and DD made me a fabulous cake. I spoke to my parents and got lots of lovely messages. And then we watched Friday Night Dinner. What more could I ask for?!

I'm glad your birthday was good and may this be merely the half way mark of a long, happy and healthy life. Perhaps you could have another "official" one like the queen does later on in the year, too.

I think an official Birthday sounds great!! I plan to celebrate with friends and family as soon as I can.

My was my DC’s birthday today, I was dreading it but we had a lovely day playing in the garden and FaceTime calls. DC soon forget that their party had been cancelled.

It was my bday yesterday...i spent the day in my garden with cider...dh cooked us all sirloin steaks for dinner....had a walk round the village in the evening and then played monopoly...it was perfect.

Mine isn't for a few weeks but each year I get friends insisting I celebrate and have nights out when honestly some nice messages, my kids faces when I overexcitedly open their cards, good food, a bottle of something nice and my jamas are perfect.

I still had to work but came home to a lovely tea and cake baked by ds1.
It was the best birthday present ever and I had a really lovely day too.
