To ask what air-con units people recommend!

Its currently 14c outside but in our master bedroom its 23.7c and will get hotter through the night!!

Don't know what is wrong with our new build, whether it is the insulation or solar panels but it is unbearable!

Every year we have just got on with it with 2 metal fans but this year we have a 6 month old in our room so need something that is going to drop the temperature before it gets into the 30's!!!

We've currently got this one running on its first go of the year and it's pretty good. Bought it when I was pregnant during a heatwave and it was fantastic. It says it's silent but it's definitely not although acts as a kind of white noise. The noise is definitely preferable to the heat. It does however have a hose that has to go out the window and then a Velcro thing to make a seal which is a pain but we wouldn't be without it.
