I know this isn't the right forum but are any of you ladies huge icehockey fans/calgary flames fans that followed in mid to late 1990s.
I've been searching for footage of my OH playing Ice Hockey or news articles etc from 1990s. I've posted on groups, contacted news papers (no response), contacted fan sites (no response). I tried Calgary Flames themselves but they couldn't find anything. I've been wanting to surprise him with it for a trip down memory lane.
He told me that as he was Greek/English there were news articles about him at the time. He also had a tragic accident on the rink where he ended up having to learn to walk again so there surely would be some coverage on this.
He told me someone found a clip last year but he hasn't been able to find it since, met someone abroad who knew who he was from his sporting days and also met someone this week who recognised him.
It's making me wonder as I just cant find anything.
Does anyone know where I can contact who may have 90s footage and articles?
