I bought one just before lockdown. It is heavy, takes up a while office, and I find all the attachments mystifying. Is it a case of pretend I feel it until it’s real, or do other people also not bond with theirs. I was told it would be instant love.

I think mine took a bit of getting used to but I absolutely love it now. Feeding carrots through the grater is so satisfying!
We use it to make crumble toppings, pastry and some sorts of cake as well as things like hummus.

I have had my Kenwood Chef for about 10 years. It goes through phases of sitting under the kitchen cupboards at the back of the worktop and then I remember why I love it and it gets pulled forward and used a lot.

The trick, I think, is to use just a couple of tools at a time. Learn them well then pick another one.

It's as much about changing what you cook as anything else.
