To do a shop when I only need some items and could probably make do?

I've been avoiding going to the supermarket but we are now beginning to run out of some things (fresh mainly) but could probably make do without for sometime yet. Is it okay to do a top up shop?

Make a list of essentials to cover you for the next week and shop, following social distanceming rules.

Is there a reason you are at high risk?

Not at high risk. I'm just thinking I should go as infrequently as possible. Ordinarily I love a good mooch around a supermarket/discount store. I'm finding a balance rather difficult to manage. How often are other people going shopping?

I'm going once a week but I have a small family and a car so I can.
Make a meal plan and shop for as many days as you can

I say use up what you have then do the shopping as infrequently as possible or look at whether there is a loc fruit and veg box company that could tide you over?

Ivm aiming for once every 2 weeks, with a veg boc delivery that includes milk on the middle week. We do have a biggish freezer and use reusable nappies
