I've noticed it a lot recently and find it very annoying

OP posts:

So what do you want to do about it lol

vodkaredbullgirl · 08/04/2020 22:54

Whay

Don't you mean Why????

Gettingo · 08/04/2020 22:54

I love the way you write whay, OP. No sarcasm.

Minesacider · 08/04/2020 22:54

I've noticed it too, it's very annoying because once you catch it, you won't be able to unhear it.

blue25 · 08/04/2020 22:58

It’s irritating I agree. I’ve also noticed people starting their response with “listen” which can seem quite aggressive.

PleasantVille · 08/04/2020 23:05

You've only just noticed?

This has been happening for years, especially prevalent in the scientific community I've found.

Gettingo · 08/04/2020 23:07

Oh no it didn't annoy me before but now it will. Just ask the question! Don't be so cute about it!

Frlrlrubert · 08/04/2020 23:07

I start a lot of sentences with 'so...'

I never realised until my pupils started taking the piss.

I have no idea why I do it. I'm not going to overthink it because the last thing I need is to feel more self conscious. I already have social anxiety.
