Just announced he's leaving the race.

Not a huge fan of Biden.

Gah.

Why are you surprised about it would be a better question

Pomegranatemolasses · 08/04/2020 16:44

I know, but he probably didn’t stand a chance of beating Trump. I don’t particularly like Biden either, but a Democrat is better than that awful man in the White House

Pomegranatemolasses · 08/04/2020 16:44

She said she was depressed, not surprised

PicsInRed · 08/04/2020 16:45

That "Creepy Uncle Joe" problem gives Trump a free run. Trump may have sexual allegations against him, but no creepy behaviour towards children.

Why do the Democrats do this to themselves? Why?

Pomegranatemolasses · 08/04/2020 16:51

Has Biden been accused of inappropriate behaviour against children? I thought the issue was grown women (not that that is acceptable, but a different category of sleaze to paedophilia)

sadpapercourtesan · 08/04/2020 16:52

American women have a choice between two sex offenders. Appalling.

Umnoway · 08/04/2020 16:54

Trump was always going to get a second a term.

Trump has a track record for being very inappropriate about his own daughter, particularly when she was a child.
It's seems to be the rich, old, white guy trope no matter which side they fall on.
Sad how some power immediately leads to abuse of the power in so many situations.

PicsInRed · 08/04/2020 16:55

Biden touches women and girls inappropriately and repeatedly, in public, on camera. Some of the videos are actually chilling to watch - political families lining up to have pictures taken with him, trying to keep their daughters away from his touch.

And that's on camera.

He's revolting.

HoneysuckIejasmine · 08/04/2020 16:57

And now we need to hope that Bernie fans still get out to vote Burden with a pinched nose. And not just not bother.

Gutted though, Bernie is great.

Butterymuffin · 08/04/2020 16:57

Here comes Trump's second term. What was wrong with Elizabeth Warren? Apart from the obvious.

PicsInRed · 08/04/2020 16:57

dazedandconfused

Trump's disgusting. Obviously.
Biden's worse. Obviously.

The next election could be a gimme. Why pick another perv, a worse perv? Stupid and amoral.

Leaannb · 08/04/2020 17:00

We were always going to be stuck with Trump.

HelloToMyKitty · 08/04/2020 17:02

It was inevitable. Bernie would’ve been a terrible candidate.

Dazedandconfusedpart2 · 08/04/2020 17:04

@PicsInRed

Completely agree. It's a bad day when the choice is one of two evils.
What hope do people who suffer abuse have, when the leader of a country with the power of America mandates abuse by his own participation?
If we survive the current crisis, I'm not sure we have much to look forward to on the other side.

Leaannb · 08/04/2020 17:04

@Butterymuffin Her views on Income Inequality and Federal Minimum wage increase to 15.00 an hour

AufderAutobahn · 08/04/2020 17:05

Bernie would not have stood a chance against Trump either. Great, stuck with that animated Wotsit until 2024.

Leaannb · 08/04/2020 17:26

@Hunniesucklejasmine its going to depend on how they feel personally about Trump and what kind of money they have in their bank account. Trump is evil and hateful and spiteful and has absolutely no intelligence. However, his administration has rolled out the relief package extremely fast. Our goverment is already handling it. They passed that package and people started getting relief today. They started releasing the money by direct deposit today. Most of my employees who are still working got 3 to 4 thousand dollars when they woke up this morning. Our clients saw their relief money combined with their social security checks today. Food Stamps have been maxed out according to family size across the board. Unemployment is now 600 dollars a week. Our Small Businesses are loving him because of the package because they can keep paying their employees for at least 2 months if they wanted too. In my area which is a lot of service industries and family restaurants they are paying their employees the average of their checks. He has already won

fernsandfeathers · 08/04/2020 19:30

I've always said he'll get in again this year anyway. Fucking bugger. Sad

We could have had Warren, and now we are stuck with the epitome of mediocrity, Very depressing.
