Anyone know what this spider may be? Can't get a better pic as I'm pretty scared of them but just wondering now, funny yellowish looking stripe on its abdomen

might it be Tibellus oblongus, I'll let you google the images so as not to scare anyone. They often sit with their 2 front leg pairs together

MitziK · 08/04/2020 16:24

Possibly a male Wasp Spider. The females are stunningly beautiful.

MrsNezbit · 08/04/2020 16:25

@manzana Thank you! Yes, def looks like that one, 2 front legs are paired together!

We’ve got those in our garden. They carry their egg sac around and then make a nest and guard it and the babies when they hatch.
I’m quite spider phobic but I rather like these ones... at a distance. 😆

MrsNezbit · 08/04/2020 17:59

I'm the same - distance is needed but quite fascinating at the same time 😄

It looks like it could be a Nursery web spider. The females carry their egg sacks around with them.
