Babysitting for a pregnant friend who is delivering her baby

I have been asked by a friend who goes into hospital because she is due to deliver her baby. Her husband wants to be with her as it may turn out to be a high-risk pregnancy - she may have to be induced or maybe even deliver caesarian as baby is already a week overdue. She does not have anyone near who could babysit for her. She has two children. I live with my landlady who could be classed as vulnerable because she is 68 and has asthma. Any thoughts please, Thanks

You shouldn’t do it if the only option is to return to your home where you live with someone else who is vulnerable. Do you have somewhere else you could stay to self isolate after? If not, it sounds like they need to ask another friend whose living situation is less complex.
