To think that lots of partners are leaving due to the virus?

I have seen so many threads about people whose partners are leaving them. And not just threats actual moving out and telling the DCs etc.

Is it just me or has there been a massive increase since the virus outbreak? Or is it a normal amount for Mumsnet and I've not paid attention?

It's not because of the virus, it's because they are dicks.

My perception is that dysfunctional, miserable couples are sticking together because of the virus. I suppose if you have another home you can move into thats a different story.

Why won't my partner get the hint? Grin.
No all jokes aside. It's quite stressful living in each other's pockets. I like my own time and don't have as much of it now. Didn't have much of it anyway but I don't want to live in someone's pocket!

I think as things are quite tense and difficult at the moment it’s bringing to the surface any existing issues couples may have had, and the strain is showing

Spending this much time together stuck in the house is probably a wake up call for a lot of couples tbh. I’m not considering leaving my partner (and as far as I know he’s not thinking about leaving me either) but my god, he’s getting on my tits more these days! I probably get on his nerves too but he’s way more annoying than me Wink
