Kissing family

Am I being over cautious or sensible here?
PiL dropped off some milk + bread at ours after going shopping. DH hugged + kissed his mum. I had a go at him saying he should keep his distance, especially as they've just been to a supermarket. He thinks I'm being paranoid. He has been popping to theirs to visit them over the last couple of weeks. I'm completely avoiding my parents to protect them.
He's making out that in being over the top + need to calm down. Both sets of parents are over 70.

Why the fuck are they coming in the house?
Why is everyone so fucking stupid???

Elieza · 06/04/2020 21:20

They are all idiots.

Sigh. Arses.

They made a non essential journey to yours. That was wrong.

He went out to them but didn’t stay 2m away from them. That was wrong.

The rules are so easy. Why can’t people listen. Even the PM is really sick now as he wasn’t social distancing in the parliament. It doesn’t discriminate, anyone can get it.

You’ve married a family of arses. If he can’t control his urge to cuddle people kick him out to go live elsewhere while you keep dc safe and follow the rules the same as the rest of us.

My mum has seen my kids every day for the past 8/10 years.

She's still working (social worker) so drives past our road everyday.

We haven't seen her for 3 weeks.

The longer people go on like this the longer it will last.

@runrabbitrunrunrun. Please read it properly. No one said they came in the house

@gillys as you can see, people like to nit pick on mn you have to give them your life story before you get your point across 🤣🤣

And no your husband shouldn't be doing that he should take it more seriously it is so hard to not see family but we all need to do what's best so the world can go back to normal!

gillys · 06/04/2020 22:14
