no i've never let the children watch it. it's awful

Idreamofchocolate · 12/09/2007 18:08

YANBU - I absolutely hate them too. Stupid orange faces and annoying squeaky voices. Whenever DD1 catches sight of the Tweenies she says to me "you hate the Tweenies don't you mummy?".

Its the whining voices that really get to me, We don't watch cbeebies much, but I put it on for half an hour this afternoon and my DS was chuckling away before i could reach the remote! arrgh!

YANBU. Can I share my hatred of Spongebob?
The sad thing is I'd love it if Ds didn't watch it for hours every day.
Twwenies is just wrong on all levels though.

YANBU...9 years ago my twin daughters were mad on them...they used to have incessant arguments over who would play with Fizz, as we had bought both the girl dolls, refusing to buy the same ones as it would have been silly to do games with two of the same character. OMG i can still remember the pain...

I'm so glad I have some support in this. As I am ridding myself of my demons I also have issues with Sarah Jane from Tikkabilla, I always think she would have been the one at the front of the class at school shouting 'me, me me!!' YUCK! However Mr Tumble is another story completely, we have him on DVD!
