It's my birthday and I'm pissed off, all my plans are cancelled (yes, I know bigger things going on, I get it etc etc, meant to be light hearted) AIBU to crack open the bubbles at 12?
YANBU - Its your birthday, get as drunk as you like!
YABU - Don't be a ridiculous piss head, have some decorum.

I found a forgotten bottle of out of date bucks fizz next to an old but in date Christmas pudding yesterday, so that was dinner organised.

I wouldn't even wait for midday! I turned 40 last October and the champagne was open at 7am before the coffee was brewed!

Its my birthday tomorrow and I should have been away on a city break with family, drinking cocktails and all the rest of it.

DH did the big essential shop on Friday and picked up a bottle of champagne too. It will be getting drunk pretty early for sure!

I cracked a bottle open at 9am Saturday for sheer joy of being able to sit in the garden in the sunshine. You can't judge folk in these troubled times; you do what you need to do to remain happy.
