AIBU to ask for help in RM2?

Friend and her daughter are self isolating and fridge getting v empty. They don’t have anyone local who can help.

I am also isolating but in a different town so although I’ve got decent pantry it would be a long drive and I suspect that bags of lentils and my veggie and nut heavy fodder won’t be right for nut allergic meat eaters!

No supermarket deliveries available. Does anyone know of local services that I could try- perhaps farm shops that have started doing deliveries etc?

Has she looked at their local council website and/or facebook groups for details of whatever volunteer or community efforts are ongoing in her town?

RM2 is Romford/gidea park area. There are a few
Locals who are delivering to that area hold on let me see if I can help get you some numbers of people who are delivering or can help

Also forgot to add co op also advertised they were helping the local community, the co op at the drill roundabout gidea park has some lovely ladies working there maybe give them a call and see if they can help.

Thanks for checking in - I managed to get her some fruit and veg and chocolate (essentials!) via amazon, and ex husband was able to drop stuff and she said she would look at the others. So helpful to be able to give her a list! Thanks again :)
