Ok, i BET im not the only one to do this. I do spend far too much time here, i know that much

But, i have found myself recently, following certain mildly annoying to infuriating situaions; composing AIBU threads in my head?

Time for the men in white coats maybe?

Yes. You are the only one.

I don't do this.

no, not at all.

No siree.

It's just you.

DebitheScot · 12/09/2007 16:28

You are correct. And I'm so releived to find that I'm not the only one to do that too!
Send the white coat men this way when you've finished with them

Caroline1852 · 12/09/2007 16:28

I have never even heard of mumsnet.

Nip · 12/09/2007 16:29

ha ha ha - i was doing that last night whilst cleaning the bath after my DH had finished it.. but then i realised that the answer to all of them would be YABU - so i gave up (hence why i dont post in the AIBU threads!)

lucyellensmum · 12/09/2007 16:30

mytwopenceworth, are you sure now

Frequently have to give myself virtual slap in chops as I find I am composing an ultra-thrilling post about some inane, uninspiring event in my life, that actually I don't need advice on, or want to share, or think anyone else could possibly have any interest in at all!

LowFat · 12/09/2007 16:44

You are not alone!

I am at work and have my finger at the ready to change the screen if my boss comes out......

curiouscat · 12/09/2007 16:54

me too lowfat mn rocks

bran · 12/09/2007 16:57

I was just composing an AIBU title in my head this afternoon regarding dh and ds's laundry. Most of my AIBU imaginary titles are dh-related.

mytwopenceworth · 12/09/2007 17:00

I can imagine typing out lots of pointless threads to start in Chat, plus typing long posts on other peoples threads, then deleting them because they're crap.

Not that I do it, I can just imagine it.

ahem.

Squiffy · 12/09/2007 17:29

I always post really boring shite, then when I am drifting off to sleep I suddenly think of the witty riposte I should have said.

My name is squiffy, and I am an MNetter-aholic

lucyellensmum · 12/09/2007 22:32

anyone else care to out themselves?

CheGueviley · 12/09/2007 22:39

I'm not overly familiar with this site.
Interesting to note that there's an AIBU topic.
Thanks.

Flibbertyjibbet · 12/09/2007 22:45

Only on the subject of mil.

DebitheScot · 13/09/2007 08:57

Not an AIBU thread but I very nearly switched the computer on last night after the football to start a thread about how exciting it was that Scotland had beaten France, then I realised that was a bit sad (not that we'd won, obviously that wasn't sad) and resisted.
