i don't like summer and warmer weather when it brings out the twats, entitleds and general needless noise.

Good for you?

Davros · 05/04/2020 14:01

It's not summer

Sparklesocks · 05/04/2020 14:22

Ok? Do what you please.

Neverender · 05/04/2020 14:22

If you're not going out you shouldn't see many twats

iheartislesofwight · 05/04/2020 16:56

davros people are treating it like summer here just because it's a bit warmer and nevereader we are allowed out to exercise.

Kids have playing in the garden on the trampoline and we've had a BBQ so I'm sure we've ticked a few boxes. Off you pop then.

zigaziga · 05/04/2020 17:02

I mean, it’s the start of April...

TwoZeroTwoZero · 05/04/2020 17:07

I'm sure that some mnetters would like to live in complete and total isolation away from anyone else.

Most people in reality just accept that they live with/alongside other people who are not actually doing anything wrong at all and are just trying to make the best of a very strange, shit situation.

Live and let live fgs. It'll do your anxiety and your blood pressure good.

Likethebattle · 05/04/2020 17:09

Come to Scotland it’s overcast and not warm.

Neverender · 05/04/2020 17:25

If you don't want to see anyone don't go out?

Neverender · 05/04/2020 17:25

Exercise isn't compulsory...

OmgThereAreNoPlanesAboveMeNow · 05/04/2020 17:28

It's April. You still have few months to go till you can start moaning about summer.🙄

It's hard living cheek by jowl.

But everyone is just trying to eke a little bit of joy out of whatever they have and they can do at the moment.

I'm having a BBQ this evening, so looking forward to it, a little taste of home! Luckily our neighbour is having one too, so don't have to feel guilty.

I've loved being able to line dry all the washing, including the sheets.

The house is all opened up, and the cat is busy trying to get her first beesting on the nose ever.

Our neighbours have been playing their music, possibly a little more loudly than is considerate, but hell, they're just trying to survive too, bring a little bit of joy to their existence.

We'll play a little bit of music down low when we sit outside to bbq.

If we all try to show the consideration and tolerance to our neighbours that we'd like them to show to us during this absolute shit show of a situation, we'll all come out of this better.

(I say this as someone who started a thread about the neighbours music the other day who has come to realise that now is not the time. . . so long as it's not at spectacularly anti-social levels!)
