It's hard living cheek by jowl.
But everyone is just trying to eke a little bit of joy out of whatever they have and they can do at the moment.
I'm having a BBQ this evening, so looking forward to it, a little taste of home! Luckily our neighbour is having one too, so don't have to feel guilty.
I've loved being able to line dry all the washing, including the sheets.
The house is all opened up, and the cat is busy trying to get her first beesting on the nose ever.
Our neighbours have been playing their music, possibly a little more loudly than is considerate, but hell, they're just trying to survive too, bring a little bit of joy to their existence.
We'll play a little bit of music down low when we sit outside to bbq.
If we all try to show the consideration and tolerance to our neighbours that we'd like them to show to us during this absolute shit show of a situation, we'll all come out of this better.
(I say this as someone who started a thread about the neighbours music the other day who has come to realise that now is not the time. . . so long as it's not at spectacularly anti-social levels!)
