Sorry if I've posted to the wrong forum, I'm new to mumsnet. I'm almost 55 and think I must be over the menopause as I've not had period for 1 and half years. Over the last three days I'm getting pain behind both nipples, it comes & goes. Found no lumps though, thank god. In orher ladies experience have you found it's just hormonal? I expected this sort of pain to stop once menopause is finished. I don't want to be a hypochondriac, I'm normally fit & well, but should I see a doctor? Feels like an over reaction to go while nhs is swamped, but on the other hand I read that you shouldn't ignore pain in your boobs.
It's probably hormonal if I'm getting it in both at the same time?
