Tesco rant

I work for NHS full time not clinical but very busy all the same sorting out stuff to support the hospital. My DH is working full time at home with 3 kids to homeschool, reception, yr 2 and yr 7.

I completely agree on line shops should be limited so it's fair on everyone but finished my order last night and hadn't realised the 80 limit was actually per item and not line. For example they had no bags of jacket potatoes so I ordered 8, some for wedges and some for the kids tea and that was 8 items. Each fruit or loose veg was one item.

I was trying to also order for a elderly relative and some extra food like pasta and cereal for the food boxes the school is preparing for children on low income over Easter

But the worse thing was quite a few items were unavailable totalling 12 items so now need to still go to a supermarket especially as there is no way the shopping would last me a week and this defeated the objective of doing the online shop and the

The problem with that logic is that I still need as much food as I needed before, but I can't buy it in one delivery. My parents who are shielding now have to have their own slot rather than sharing mine.
