Neighbours banging pans together at random times since 8pm Thursday!

Last time I saw our next door live neighbours (semi detached - house v flats) was on Thursday. We were out clapping the NHS, they were banging pans together. I gave them a polite nod; DH said they gave him a '' manical smirk that went on far to long to be normal " but then he thinks everyone in the world is totally bonkers except for him.

Thing is, they've carried on banging their pans. For two nights we have been woken up by what sounds like them crashing metal together on/ against our adjoining wall. Last night it was 3 am, then again at 4.30. Could by DIY bit I don't think so.

We've not got on with them since we had a dispute about a leak. Turned out it wasn't our fault.

Are they bored, vengeful, or just compelled to express their gratitude to the NHS whenever they feel like it?... Is this sort of deliberate noise deemed as harassment? We can't just go round and I feel a note would make things worse as they're clearly doing it on purpose.

Live neighbours? Don't know where that came from...

They sound nuts.

Hopefully your non-live zombie neighbours on the other side are quieter!

Yes, the non-live neighbours are much quieter, we don't hear a peep from them!
