Heavily pregnant, need to collect shopping

Sorry to post here but I need the traffic! I have read somewhere that Tesco are now putting click and collect items straight in your boot? Is this true?

I've ordered quite a bit and would possibly struggle lifting it. Dp was meant to go but has broken his leg!

Anyone clarify?

You'll be fine, surely! You pick it up in separate bags. Lots of pregnant women are picking up toddlers who weigh a lot more than a bag of shopping.

ChocolateQuiltedShitPig · 04/04/2020 10:55

Oh they are bagged are they?

As Bridecilla said... also pregnant, also have a toddler. Toddler weighs more than shopping. Unless you’ve ordered any large items which I’m sure they would help with 🤷🏻‍♀️

Only reason I moan about lifting is because my pgp is soooooo bad right now and physio said to avoid lifting, not being precious hehe

Can't you use a trolly to wheel the bags to your car and then just put them in the boot?

Skeeter2020 · 04/04/2020 10:59

You'll live

HollaHolla · 04/04/2020 11:01

I did a click and collect at Tesco the other night. They wheeled it to the car and left it for me to load. It was in lots of bags, so none were that heavy. I have a spinal injury, so shouldn’t lift anything heavy either. I survived.

It will be in several bags, so should be ok to lift and carry.

ChocolateQuiltedShitPig · 04/04/2020 12:21

I was just concerned that they wouldn't be bagged but they were so all was fine. Thanks!
