With their stocks of vegetable and fruit seedlings. We need to be unpinning the supply chain. There will be a regret if this good source is wasted.

The garden centre here is doing deliveries, and lots of seeds have been given to community groups, schools that are open etc so hopefully they don't all go to waste. The issue is that around here, not sure about anywhere else, they are always so busy, especially for the size of them! If they were open here maintaining social distancing would be really hard, and it would increase uneccessary journeys.

Yes, there are a couple doing home deliveries here too.

I did initially think they should have stayed open but their business model is so much "trip out for a browse" I don't know how it would be possible to organise so social distancing was maintained and people were in and out for what they need only.

The one near us sells a lot of useless expensive tat but I think it could be possible to open just the outside bit for plants. At the very least they should be allowed to do click and collect.

Lots are doing delivery, ring up and order and pay over phone and they drop on the drive.

Our local nursery says he's driving 100+ miles s day doing drop offs and I bet they are so glad they can do some trade, safely.

I have indeed checked my local nursery and they are doing home deliveries.
