Should I give up delivery slots?

I have Tesco delivery slots for the next 2 weeks - 1 a week on Friday. We have been in total lockdown for 2.5 weeks as son had symptoms but didn't have it in the end (I think). Have literally been nowhere apart from garden. Both work from home. But no reason why we couldn't go to supermarket ourselves now.
AIBU to keep slots? I'm thinking....
a. will Tesco actually make this slot available to someone else or will it just get abandoned as they are overstretched?
b. surely it is better for us not to move anywhere for the next 2 weeks and risk getting it and spreading it? With these 2 deliveries coming we wouldn't need to move at all.
Am feeling a bit guilty about having a slot when no underlying needs. Please don't have a go at me, this is a genuine question and I am torn

release it - someone else will be able to take it. We did that and when I check after it was sitting there for someone to take.
If you don't need it cancel - no there's no guarantee that someone more 'worthy' will get it but if all the able bodied, non-isolating people who don't need a slot gave it up the system would be less clogged up.
Right now it's the equivalent of hoarding, like all the people who bought massive family packs of loo roll, but still buy more every chance they get just because they can

It does on Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury’s. Don’t know about the rest

No, it doesn't. Anyone can book a delivery with ASDA and Tesco. They may be encouraging you to shop in store if possible but there's nothing to say you can't book a delivery if you want to.

vanillandhoney Ok, those websites are encouraging us to be considerate of others not enforcing us, but that’s hardly the point.

No, don't give up your slots. ignore people telling you to give them up because there is no guarantee your slot won't be taken by someone who is not vulnerable.
