A few weeks ago I had a pending need to store some furniture and other belongings. I made a few enquiries to storage unit companies. One rang me, gave me a quote and told me about their facilities. They asked if I wanted to secure a unit by paying a deposit and I said no, I was not 100% sure when I would need it so I'd just let them know.
Anyway they rang me back 5 days later to ask the same thing. I gave them the same answer no, I don't know when I'll need them, I'd told them this from the start, and I'd ring them when I knew.
They rang again a few days later and left a voicemail because I didn't answer.
Then again another few days later...
They rang me again 4 days later. Obviously the current situation has affected many things and now I don't need them for the foreseeable.i told them this.
I believe they've closed now but the last time they rang I had a bit of a go at them. I was just going into work,in a bit of a rush and I snapped at the guy that I would know when I needed them, and that nagging me all the time like this had put me off using them completely. I was polite, but firm and said ringing people like this doesn't make them suddenly need the service sooner or remind them that they need their belongings storing, and that it had put me off using them. Wibu? Only asking now because I wonder if its just me that would have become bothered by it.
