Contracting Covid-19 when suffering from a Cold

A member of my household works in A&E where several colleagues have recently been diagnosedwith Covid-19. I've just come done with a pretty bad cold, does anyone know if having a cold is likely to lead to complications if you happen to contract Covid-19 at the same time?

I don't have a fever or a cough.

Just sneezing, sore throat, blocked nose and a headache

Um... Are you sure it's not covid-19?

I know who gave me this cold and they have already recovered.

Don't forget that it's also hay fever season. Could this be your 'cold'?

Fortunately I'm not a hay fever sufferer
