would you still be able to be treated? I'm not talking about CV. If for example, you found a lump. Or suspected cancer. Something potentially serious. Are the two week clinics even happening right now? Just curious

I don’t know, but it really wouldn’t surprise me if that sort of thing was delayed right now.

underneaththeash · 01/04/2020 22:37

Of course you would. Thousands more people would die if they didn’t seek treatment for urgent problems. If you have a problem you should contact your GP.

KipperInASlipper · 01/04/2020 22:40

Would you though? You can't even pay right now for private screening as all the private hospitals have turned themselves ofer to covid wards

Winterwoollies · 01/04/2020 23:18

You would. Cancer screening is still happening. People are still working their normal clinical jobs. They may have COVID19 precautions in the clinics, but they’re still happening.

If you’ve found a lump, please don’t delay.

I rang my GP on Monday with a lump and have been referred under the two week clinic if that helps

I wondered this as I woke up with a sore and a bruise that wasn't there last night, I'm just hoping it's nothing.
