Husband is still working. Seems unable to draw a line under his working day now he's at home. I'm fairly sure he's writing some long winded email that no one will read. Typing VERY loudly and putting me off my TV programme. Proper giving me the rage....I can feel an argument brewing.

I turn my laptop off at 5 and completely forget about work. We are the same level of seniority so it's not like there should be a big difference in the amount of work which is required from us.

Should I LTB? What are your husbands doing to drive you nuts while they're at home?

Mine updates me regularly on his symptoms, in case I might finally believe he has the virus.

He does not have a persistent cough - he coughs a couple of times a day, which everyone does. He doesn’t have tightness in his chest with difficulty breathing - he has some muscular aches that go away if he goes out and walks the dog. His forehead is nice and cool (I should know - I have to feel it every single frigging time).

He ‘feels a bit odd’ - and frankly I think all of his symptoms are best explained away by the stress of the current situation - they don’t fit any of the symptoms of CV.

Every time I tell him he doesn’t have a high temperature, or a persistent cough, or breathlessness. He eventually accepts I might know what I am saying (I am a trained nurse), and goes away.

An hour or two later - he’s back! Same symptoms. I feel his forehead. I reassure. He goes away.

Aaaaaand then he’s back. Arghhhhh.

He has been told that, if he is not careful, he will end up under the foundations of the extension our neighbours are building.

I fear the divorce rates are going to rise off the back of this (and I already have one divorce under my belt!) 😂
