Sorry, I am shamelessly posting for traffic. My inhaler dose has increased and as a result I now how oral thrush- yuck. I really don't want to go to the pharmacy. I had no plans to leave my house for the next 12 weeks. Any home remedies of how I can cure this? Or will it get worse if left untreated?

You could try gargling with salt water, if it's only mild that might help. Using a spacer with the inhaler should stop it happening in the future.

My dentist advised me to brush my teeth after using an inhaler rather than before.

Online GP or pharmacy? I've used them a few times and no issues. Usually just confirm existing health conditions, might ask for a photo of the issue, medications you're on etc.

Not sure if they would want all that even for a canesten tablet but you never know.

You could gargle with coconut oil?

Mouthwash/Gargle
Hydrogen peroxide if you have it, kills anything.
Or antibacterial commercial mouthwash.

Our gp is doing phone consultations and the pharmacy ask you to call before collecting, they prepare everything, you go, knock on the window and step back they come to the glass door place the bag on the doorstep shut the door, you hold up your ID so they can see it through the door and take the prescription. I was very impressed. All wearing PPE too.
