A bit of a rant really more than AIBU
Just because there is a pandemic doesn't mean I've lost all my mental ability- don't speak to me like I'm a child!
I do get it, it's stressful for everyone but for the love of god- what has happened??

I got shouted at when visiting the supermarket. I followed the directions of a member of staff, only to be yelled at by another member of staff that I wasn't following their orders. Then I was called a "numpty" by said staff member to other customers. I had done exactly what the first had asked. I'm not a fucking mind reader!

I've had crosswords mansplaned to me when speaking to DS teacher. The computer programme wasn't working properly- I know how to complete a sodding crossword! Turns out the work wasn't compatible with using a tablet which I discovered later.

Had a renewed contract advising me I'm being put on furlough. The contract and it's contents make no sense to me, my colleagues or my husband. Had numerous sarcastic emails that have been worded like I'm a 3 year old from my manager. Ffs.

Am I being extra irritable at the moment or are a dairy majority of the U.K acting like a dick?

It's not what I'm seeing in my area. I'm mostly seeing people going out of their way to be absolutely lovely at the moment.

There are a lot of ducks around at the moment. I’m seeing the worst of humanity, people desperate for a sniff of authority or to be classed as more needy than others so they get priority.

Dicks not ducks

Haven't noticed this myself to be honest...
