Like a nursery practitioner. Expected to justify what we're doing for 9 hours a day. We usually spend 9 hours a day looking after babies and toddlers. Who knows why the f**k they can't furlough us.

I'm a teaching assistant currently "working" from home...there's not a great deal I can do now I've caught up on my online training...but I'd rather that than less money

I'm currently reading books to increase my knowledge, doing a few free online causes and coming up with ideas for lesson fillers/activities

Teacher.
Not required in our set up to teach live or to record lessons.
So it's the same amount of sourcing of materials for the pupils, a little time to set them, a little more time as it's harder to make sure it's appropriate for the different abilities of my pupils.
And a bit of time answering emails and giving written feedback to turned in work.

Not quite as time consuming as 6 hours in the classroom and an hour + each side of the day prepping and marking etc.

Fitting in a bit of CPD for the new curriculum. And doing a bit of adming.

But otherwise bored out of my skull!

I'm a nursery worker and I as well as most of my colleagues have been furloughed. They have kept several on for the children of key workers but a large percentage of us are off. I'm getting in the swing of things with my own kids at home but do plan to look into online courses and planning etc if I get the time.
