Self settling

My 4 month old baby can self settle in the night (I have see n her do it) and sleeps really well however she can’t seem to do it for her naps in the day. Really struggling atm with being in the house all the time. She has 4 naps a day of around 35/40 mins. I’ve altered her awake window and she sleeps back in her Moses basket. Any other tips?

You aren’t doing it wrong. I have some tips earlier but I have some more. Letting her be placid before a nap and drift towards sleep perhaps in your arms or a rocker chair and not moving her til then. Doing the reflex test or observing her hands ( if flatter likely really ready, if fists maybe not). While host of these. PM me if you wish.

I've not rtft but this is totally normal and you're not doing anything wrong.

Do you have a sling? My little girl slept in a sling on me at that age (the close caboo) and would sleep well.

I could cook/eat/clean/watch TV/read etc. All while she slept away on my chest. I miss those days now and she's only 16 months!
