To be worried about being stopped

I have to drive to work soon as I am a key worker. I have anxiety and am worrying about being stopped. Wibu to print a note explaining my journey and details of my work place and my managers phone number to show through the window with my ID card in case the police stop me ? I haven't been on shift yet so this is the first time

The policeman certainly wasn't 2 metres away. He practically stuck his head through my window

I am still working and haven’t been stopped yet. I would have no I d to show I need to work either.

I drove over 70 miles on Saturday and had a police car even drive pass me didn’t even glance at my car.

Think it will come down stricter but obviously people still bored to travel for work so could be a waste of their time and resources to stop people as a Majority are only going out when necessary.

*need not bored Confused

I live in a small midlands town and the police are routinely driving around , and asking walkers where they are going, so surreal. My neighbour is a carer and has been given a letter by her employers to leave in the car should she get stopped.

As long as you have ID you'll be fine. I lives about 10 miles outside of Glasgow and the police here have been issuing fixed penalty notices to people if boring the rules.

I wear my ID badge at work (NHS) so always have it with me when driving to work. I haven’t been stopped yet but assume this would be enough if I was.

As someone has already pointed out, you don't have to be an essential worker to be out, you have to not be able to work from home. Travel to work is allowed. So you don't need ID to prove you're a key worker.

If you get flagged down, you sim;ply say you're off to work.

Well have to take bus pass then we only go to local shops less less than 100 yards from our home.
