Parental visitation coronavirus

My daughter fled from her drug addled abusive partner 2 years ago, they have a daughter together. He had supervised visitation 3 times a week and alternate weekends at his sisters which was granted by the family court. As of beginning march he no longer requires supervision. This weekend he took my granddaughter to his dads, his mums , his half sisters and three shops where they had to queue and also one of his addiction mates. My daughter is distraught !! He will not accept that lockdown means staying in and is now thretening my daughter by text that he will soon apply for sole custody as little one has been mistreated . .. granted the people they visited are also stupid.... but is there anything that can be done ?? My daughter will contact her solicitor tomorrow but there's a chance they won't be at work. I take it halting visits will be detrimental as it's against court rulings. Many thanks

I think the visits will have to be halted. I dont think "normal"" rules apply in a pandemic?
What a total prat he is.

Hi there,

I think the solicitor definitely will be at work tomorrow (though probably working from home), and will provide advice.

If it were me I would not be willing to allow contact in those circumstances, but I'd contact my solicitor immediately so that they could provide the necessary legal backup (which will probably be a letter in the first instance, or maybe an application to the court).
