Sneezing uncovered!

Is it ever acceptable to sneeze without covering your mouth but especially at a time like this?!

My husband who is 41 years old just sneezed open mouthed without covering his face! He faced away from me which meant the door, handle, table and side of the couch got it.

Iv to 'stop going on' coz it wasn't even a 'full sneeze' whatever that means.

I mean come on. AIBU??

It’s not acceptable but in reality if he has the CV you probably already have it too, so he’s right that it’s not any more disgusting at a time like this but it’s just not acceptable generally at any time.
